  1832 Classic Head Half Cent. . C-1. PCGS graded MS-64 Red and Brown. Clean surfaces and with mostly brown toning on both sides. The color is a bit mottled, but hints of red are present in the fields too. There is a small speck on Liberty's cheek, and a couple of hairlines on her face.

  1832 Classic Head Half Cent. . C-1. NGC graded MS-64 Brown. Here is a beauty that boasts medium chocolate brown color and clean surfaces. There is one tiny tick below the U of UNITED, and a small green speck below the ninth star. This is the "accessory" E variety, with the mispunched "E" in the wreath below the E of STATES. You can clearly see the lower left serif protruding from the wreath just above the point of the A in HALF. A popular die blunder that was discovered some years ago by the legendary Jules Reiver. The reverse die break is present through the A of STATES.

  1832 Classic Head Half Cent. Cohen-1, Rarity-2. . C-1. VF-30. An important coin with an illustrious pedigree, this is from the Roger S. Cohen collection and is plated obverse and reverse in his reference work on the Half Cent series. Purchased from that sale and this includes the original auction flip from the Cohen sale as well as a paper envelope which may have been Roger Cohen's. Nice surfaces, and identifiable by a small rim mark by the sixth star, and a spot over the F and a small scrape over the A of HALF. Don't miss it this time around.
